Enable Camera

  • You will require an active webcam for the online proctored examination. 
  • Please enable apps to access your camera in camera settings in your computer
  • To enable camera in windows 10: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4028647/windows-open-the-camera-in-windows-10  
  • You must use only 1 computer during the examination. You can't use 2 or more different computers during the examination. 
  • While providing access to your screen during the examination, you must share 'YOUR ENTIRE SCREEN'
  • You may wish to acquire an external webcam, if inbuilt camera isn't functioning
  • You are requested to submit your exam answers before time runs out

 

Why do you need to enable computer camera?

  • VarSigma Certification examinations are AI proctored
  • The proctoring application flags any suspicious behaviour along with evidence of the behaviour. This may include but not limited to - 
  • Participant using an internet powered page, or communicating on messenger / chat apps
  • Participant recording / taking screenshots
  • Participant stepping away during the examination
  • Participant speaking to someone during the examination
  • The Identity proof and photograph uploaded in the enrollment form will be re-verified during the proctored online certification examination
  • Examination answers must be recorded through the system capturing test taker consent by clicking on submit button without any external intervention.  

 

Camera is Not enabled

  • In case your camera doesn't work though you have enabled in your computer settings, you may want to try opening the exam link in another browser (Recommended Firefox)
  • If your camera is working, you will be able to see your face in the blue box and only once you accept 'My camera works, open the form' the examination form will appear to get started with the exam.
  • In case you fail to activate your webcam during the examination, the exam attempt will be counted however, will not be considered for evaluation 

 

Computer FULL screen not shared

  • While providing access to your screen during the examination, you must share 'YOUR ENTIRE SCREEN'
  • In case you fail to share your FULL computer screen during the examination or share only application window or browser tab, your exam attempt will be counted however, will not be considered for evaluation

Exam answers not submitted within exam time (Time Over)

  • The certification examination form is an Auto-Close Form
  • The examination form will be automatically closed when the time is over
  • Your exam answers will NOT be submitted automatically once the form closes therefore, please make sure to submit your answers before time runs out
  • The recording feed cannot be used for assessment of answers
  • As per certification guidelines, we can't manually intervene in the examination process

 

Examination Attempts & Certificate 

  • You have total 3 attempts for examination and can schedule it at your convenience on any of the Sunday’s 
  • It doesn't state in the assessment email or certificate whether you have the taken examination more than once. This information is not divulged to any external party
